Melissa Strong-Abrosimoff, CD(DONA)
Mom of three amazing kids, wife to a pretty darn great man - supporting families is my passion. I am well versed in the different settings that childbirth can take place after having experienced birth myself in a hospital with medication, in a hospital with midwives and at home with midwives and my family. In addition to being a Doula I also teach birth mapping to ensure a birthing person know ALL of their options in birth - there are many!
I specialize in working with families prenatally to help them establish confidence in their ability to birth - especially in those persons that have had a traumatic past birth experience. I feel that birth is a time to be heard, and I strive to ensure each of the people I work with have THEIR wishes, desires and preferences heard and supported. Pregnancy, birth and parenthood preparation - I have you covered.

Christina Rigutto, CD(DONA)
I was born and raised in London Ontario and, after completing High School, decided to travel to Mexico and study Spanish for 2 months to completely immerse myself in the culture. Little did I know I would meet my future husband there, changing my life’s path. Soon after getting married we settled back in London and started our family. We now have 4 amazing children and I have spent the past 14 years at home with them, as well as helping my husband run our Spanish Language School. It was my own birth experiences, especially the empowering homebirth of my 4th baby, that inspired me to work as a birth professional. As soon as I learned what a doula was and how I could positively impact a woman's birth experience, I knew I wanted to be one. I am passionate about birth and believe in a woman’s ability to birth her baby the way she wants. As a DONA trained labour Doula, I value women’s choices concerning how they want to birth and it is a great honour for me to support women and their families through this amazing life experience.
